An international miniature art exhibition featuring more than 2,000 artworks in 10cm × 10cm format by over 80 participating artists. Developed through exhibition branding, visual identity systems, campaign materials, mascot design, and cross-cultural creative direction for a large-scale contemporary art showcase in Malaysia.

Tiny Art Gala 2025: Bridging Cultures Globally
What begins as a 10cm × 10cm canvas — barely the size of a coaster — can hold entire worlds.
That was the quiet conviction behind Tiny Art Gala 2025: Bridging Cultures Globally, an international miniature art exhibition I founded and chaired, bringing together artists, diplomats, communities, and advocates under one roof at iN Design Lab, KL Eco City Mall.
The Numbers That Surprised Even Us
- 🎨 71 artists from across the globe
- 🖼️ 2,150 miniature artworks, each exactly 10cm × 10cm
- 👥 600 visitors over just 2 days
- 🌍 Ambassadors representing 12+ countries
- 🤝 Diplomatic Excellencies from several nations in attendance
- 🏆 Officially recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records as the country’s Largest Mini Artworks Exhibition
None of it happened overnight. It took one full year of preparation and 15 dedicated volunteers who believed in the idea before it was anything more than a sketch.
More Than an Exhibition
From the beginning, Tiny Art Gala was conceived as something larger than a gallery show. The creative system built around it — brand identity, mascot design, installation environments, merchandise, and campaign materials — was designed to carry that intention visually and emotionally across every touchpoint.
Partnering with World Vision as our NGO Official Partner gave the project its humanitarian backbone, positioning miniature art not just as aesthetic expression, but as a platform for cultural exchange, charity, and genuine community connection.
The launch was graced by Y.B. Puan Jamaliah Binti Jamaluddin, State Assemblyman for Bandar Utama — a moment that affirmed what the project stood for beyond the art world.
What I Carried Away
Serving as Founder and Organising Chairperson of Tiny Art Gala taught me something I’ll return to again and again in my practice: the most powerful design isn’t always the largest. Sometimes, it fits in the palm of your hand — and still manages to ripple far beyond the canvas.
